Which track fits me?

 

Choose the track that contains the most statements you identify with in your dancing* (BE HONEST for your own learning success and the learning of others in the class):

*Instructors may ask participants to change tracks at their discretion.

 

Track 1

  • I am confident dancing 6-count swing and have some familiarity will 8-count footwork.

  • I want to solidify my basics and transitions to make them really clear and comfortable.

  • I want to expand the repertoire of moves I can lead/follow.

  • Lindy Hop is like a magical unicorn and I'm still trying to find it.

Track 2

  • I can easily transition between 6-count and 8-count footwork without missing a beat.

  • I can comfortably and successfully lead/follow a swing out and even pull off cool variations.

  • I want to learn more Lindy Hop that focus on technique, musicality, and rhythms.

  • Lindy Hop is my pet unicorn.

Track 3 (Audition Video Submission Required*)

  • I have a solid technique in rhythm, timing, and body awareness, as well as the ability to maintain a clear connection with partners in both open and closed positions.

  • I am comfortable dancing at both slow and fast tempos and improvising with advanced musicality.

  • I can pick up complex variations and adapt to musicality-focused or role-switching exercises without difficulty.

  • I am a Lindy Hop unicorn.
